Helping people get around temporary mobility problems
|

Every year, tens of thousands of British Columbians
find themselves with a temporary disability due
to an illness, surgery or injury. This can present
a financial burden – especially to seniors and
those with moderate incomes. They need mobility
aids including wheelchairs, walkers and crutches
to cope with daily activities. If buying or renting
these things is beyond your means, the Canadian
Red Cross’s medical equipment loan service can
